Accessibility
Statement
The Sheffield South City Learning Centre website has been designed with accessibility as a priority. All pages of the site are WAI AA compliant, XHTML 1.0 transitional and CSS 2 standards.
The site will operate in all browsers on Mac and PC platforms with CSS and Javascript switched on or off.
Key measures we have taken to ensure the site is accessible to all are as follows:
Skip navigation
Each page contains a skip navigation link which takes you to the beginning of the content area.
Colour
The colour schemes used throughout the site exhibit good contrast for users who are colour blind.
Images
Alternative text is provided for users who are blind or partially-sighted, using non-graphical browsers.
Text
The text styles used for the site are encoded using fonts that can be resized as desired using standard controls in your browser.
