What is a CLC?
CLCs or City Learning Centres are ICT Learning Centres, mostly on secondary school sites, aimed at fosterng the use of ICT and eLearning to support innovation and raising standards. CLCs support a partnership of schools in a local area and provide a high quality ICT learning environment together with professional support for teachers and learners. There are 5 CLCs in Sheffield. They are part of the Government's Excellence in Cities programme.
