The City Learning Centres exist to provide support, training and continuous professional development for school staff across Sheffield. We have delivered training on Interactive Whiteboards, Web Site design, creation and maintenance, Image Manipulation, Digital Video Editing, basic to advanced Office application skills, ICT specific to subject areas, Classroom management using ICT and lots more.
We try to be re-active to the demands of schools and we hold a wide range of software packages and kit for use in the classroom including laptops, video cameras and digital stills cameras, Kar2Ouche and BlackCat etc.
The South Sheffield CLC is based in the grounds of Newfield Secondary School and has sate of the art facilities
